Am I a little late to wish you these? Of course not! It’s only the 12th day of Chinese New Year and it’s never too late to greet people, hehe…
I finally have the mood and time to update.
Been REALLY BUSY lately. Went to Cameron Highlands on the Monday (23/1) before CNY, came back on Wednesday, went for job interview on Thursday and Friday, then CNY on Sunday!
So I’ve been visiting relatives, getting ang pao and gambling! Well, only gambling once in my aunt’s house. Was betting RM10 using dad’s money, he was the house, tired after few hours, so I took over. It was 2am plus if I’m not mistaken. They were crazy! Some were betting RM20, RM30, even RM50! -__-” Wanted to bet RM5 but dad asked me to bet RM10 haha.. Luck was on me and my brother’s side (he wore red, so I grab him over), I won 5 cards 21 (五龙21)! It was like J + 2 –> 3 –> A –> 5 = 21 TRIPLE PAY!!! Should have bet RM50 LOL~!!! Then last game, we bet RM20 and BLACK JACK!!! hahahahahaha…
Last Saturday went ang pao hunting with a group of friends. NINE of us from 11.30am Tmn Segar, Connaught, Anggerik, Pandan Indah to Subang 11.30pm, ONE WHOLE DAY!!
Time passed by real fast. CNY is ending soon and this is my forth day of training in Menara PJ (first interviewer). At first I thought the training is gonna be like boring lectures, I was wrong. They get top management people who work in huge financial insitutions to conduct the course. People like Cik. Puteh Naziadin who was the Head of Consumer Banking for MayBank to teach us on customer service, communication skills, grooming..etc. With her alone is a 3 days session, 1 more day to go tomorrow. Before her was 2 other man (formal president of PIAM, a multi-millionaire) and woman (forgot who) teached us on attitude & behaviours, banking products, rules and regulations.
Only four days passed, feel like I’ve absorb more than I learn in 1 semester during degree. The classes were fun, interactive, we get to learn many different things and real life stories happened in the industry. These knowledge and skills others took years and years to realize, to learn and develope, yet we get to learn them all within 3 weeks, somemore FOC and get paid to attend training, where else could you find such thing??
Of course, there’s always a gap between theories and pratical, but I believe you will never find such intensive training + top people from respective field + FOC + salary else where. The bank is spending large sum of money to get 22 of us trained. Do you know how much they get paid? at least RM3 to 4K A DAY to talk to people like us. I wasn’t sure bout this job until I start attending training. I think it really suits my character, I’m very talkative you see. The knowledge and experience I’m gonna gain in this job will bring me far no matter where I go in future. Wish me luck! =)
