Happy Birthday to Me!

Wednesday, August 17th, 2005

Yeap it’s my birthday today ^_^
I am officially one year older now…
Thank you everyone who greeted me through sms, phone, msn, friendster and face to face. Of course, a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who gave me presents!

Alrite let’s see what I did today… Mind you, it’s gonna be a long entry!

Sharp 12am, sms started flowing into my phone. Samantha was the first to greet me, then Karen, Myathu, Khang Jin and other friends through out the day, such as Cui Yun, Jay, Wai Kit, David, Yan Lin, Edward, Kaili, Ee Yean, Jarod, Eric, Steven, Shawn..etc. Before this, Wai Loon sms me at 11.30pm the night before, because he was tired and wanted to be the first one to greet me. Well, David beat him, this fella message me on MSN 2 days before! LOL! If I ever left out anyone please forgive me, it’s hard for me to recall all the sms I received today. Thank you very much =)
Thank you Eeyean and Celeste for the Birthday greeting entry in Reallybites.net That was very sweet! *touched*
Thank you Jane for your testimonial on Friendster.
Thank you Li Heen and Jeng Kenn aka Deimos Tel Arin for the message on Friendster.

The best present I got for myself in the morning would be my Financial Planning result, I got a DISTINCTION! *me hopping dancing around* hehe… At last, I got a distinction for my third year!! WOHOOOO~~~

Around noon, took some photos with college mates using my brand new Nikon 5900… When we had lunch in KFC, battery exhaunsted, cannot take photo anymore -_-”

After that, went to Chili in MidValley with Karen. It’s always fun to hang out with her. She is the sweetest girl one can ever meet.

Kaili has the same birthday with me, her boyfriend, Hou Hong was being Super Sweeeetttt to throw her a surprise BBQ party at her house in Sunway Damansara Jaya. So I was invited to celebrate together =) HH brought her out for dinner and we all gathered in her house before she came back. Besides “Help gang”, her highschool ex-schoolmates were invited as well. I had a great time there. Literally all I did was just sitting there, get presents, eat free supply of noddles, fried rice, BBQ sausages, fish balls, satay and chicken wings..Oh boy the satay were DELICIOUS! Hou Hong, Eric and Brian were like maids walking around to serve people with food hahahaa..
Thank you Kaili and Hou Hong for inviting me to the party. Thank you Jimmy for fetching me so I didn’t have to drive all the way there =)

Thank you Mum for subsidizing RM500 for my Nikon 5900 digicam. Or else, I pay to pay full amount! o_O
Thank you Big Sister for the red ang pao ^_^
Thank you my cousin Ah Voon jie jie for the super cute e-card.
Thank you Pei San for the two lovely glasses.
Thank you Zi Yi, Yan Lin, Wei Wei, Chew Hui and Jolene for the necklace, ear rings, handphone cover and key chain. They said I have unique taste, in other words, very different from others, so they got me all these hoping I’d like at least one of them, lol~!!
Thank you Samantha, Shawn, Kaili and Hou Hong for the puzzle. 1000 pieces wei, don’t play play..
Thank you Jimmy, Paul and Eric for the book The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I wanted to get this long time ago.
Thank you Karen for… oh well.. she hasn’t give me yet…haha

I had a great, enjoyable and fun birthday! Thank you everyone for making it special ^_^

Haze Part III

Thursday, August 11th, 2005

Omgwtfbbq the haze today is CRAZY!!!
For the first time, college toilet smell better than the air out there…

Burnt smell is everywhere, even inside the shopping mall.. -_-”
F*cking haze invaded 1U. I had to switch on headlights as I entered the underground car park in old wing. I tell you, it’s damn hazy down there, even worse than outdoor. Closed space plus waste gas contributed by countless vehicles, imagine that. After I parked the car, I told Karen I didn’t feel like getting out… Many people were wearing masks, especially those working in the shops. I am having headache now, thanks to the whole afternoon shopping there. Really regret for not getting mask this morning.

Went Secret Recipe for lunch. My goodness, the music really get on my nerve. They were playing remix of hit songs. The heavy beat felt like a hammer knocking my head. If you have headache, don’t go Secret Recipe! Despite the sucky music, chicken cornish taste GREAT! and the soothing ice-blended lemon juice rocked!

I finally got prezziesss for Shawn and Kaili. Of course, can’t reveal what I got for them now… Tell you after their birthday =p
Thank you Karen for shopping with me patiently. She end up having headache too, sorry Karen >_<

Besides that, I also went to Fotokem to check out their digicam promotion. They gave me an interesting offer, Nikon 5900 @ RM1348, comes with 512mb memory card, original casing, mini tripod and a tall one, sounds good? I’ll probably get the camera next tuesday. How nice if someone could give me that for birthday present..hehe… *dreaming*

On the way back from 1U, hazy out there, cold aircon in my car, lounge music playing on the radio, felt like driving in Genting… The only good thing bout this haze is.. when you’re not exposed to it, it feels kinda romantic actually……

Haze Part II

Wednesday, August 10th, 2005

Did you see the haze out there??? Despite the temperature and polluted air, we are practically in Genting! In fact, it’s even worse than Genting. This morning, I saw the sun hanging on the sky like an orange colour egg yolk. The visibility is so low. I can smell the burning everywhere, even inside the classroom. This is crazy. I can’t breath when I go outside. Nose is blocked, eyes are pain, throat is very dry, feeling dizzy, friends complain the haze cause them headache and the list go on… I can see students start wearing mask in my college. Perhaps I should get one too.
