Lets see what I did today……
Afternoon, went to college and the class ended within an hour.
Jeff sms me asked if I want to watch Madagascar. Hell ya! I’m dying to catch this, according to my friends, “DAMN FARNIIEEE” show.
Guess what, the tickets for 5pm show sold out. 7pm show left only front seats. FINE! what about Star Wars? 6.15pm show, tickets were selling fast.. but what are we gonna do for 2 hours before the show? plus first 4 hours of parking cost RM1, every hour after that cost RM2 -__-”
If Jeff asked me ealier I would have bought or reserved the tickets yesterday or this morning, argh! He suggested to catch the show somewhere else, but heck, it’s WEDNESDAY, which means there will be long queue in front of every GSC cinema…
So we ended up in Popular bookstore and bought a scientific calculator. I lost mine in college, must have left it in the class or something. RM40 gone!
We stop by a camera shop. Attended by this enthusiatic sales man who claim himself to be a photographer. Before this I planned to buy Nikon Coolpix 5900, but he said according to his “experience”, Nikon lasts for only 1 1/2 years, so he recommended Olympus, Pentex and Minolta. You can never trust a sales man’s words 100%. Later, he said all brands within the same price range should have similar quality. Then, he kept stressing it’s worth to buy Olympus D60 and Pentex..bla bla bla… Now, I don’t know which brand to go for… David if you’re reading this, I know you gonna say “NOT AGAIN!” haha… It’s better to do more research before buying mar..right?
Then, we went to “yam cha” at Mong Kok restaurant. The service sucked, it took forever for the drinks to come, I had to remind them. Then my waffle came without honey on top. Mind you, there weren’t many customers, they simply forgot about us. Jeff said probably because I never do enough eye contact, my “voltage” wasn’t strong enough LOL~!!
After that, we went to pasar malam nearby my house. Mann it was soooooo packed! The longest pasar malam in KL, don’t play play~~ We bought some pirated CDs. Passed by the store that sell “smelly tofu”, a type a food where they ferment the tofu and it smells like VOMIT. Jeff said despite the terrible smell, it actually taste great! -______-” How can anyone swallow something like that? and the queue was long! I can never understand that. It’s just yucky for me. The crowd + terrible smell + hot weather, I almost ran out of breath!
Jeff is really funny, I kept laughing at his jokes. He seems to be a real gentleman, funny, friendly, very polite, caring, helpful and yes, he is single. Sounds like I’m promoting him huh..haha.. Well why not? He is a nice guy, the typical good boy friend type! =p Looking forward to yam cha with him again.
