Yes, I had fever, again! shouldn’t have bath and slept so late…
Yes, shoot me, I don’t know how to take care of myself…

Well well, I just woke up not too long ago.
Seems like the fever has gone. Wheeeeeeeeee~~
Thank goodness, now I can start studying. Wish me luck~!!

House of Wax

Friday, June 3rd, 2005

This movie sucked.
It’s crappy, stupid and gross. Read –> CRAPPY not creepy.

The wax statues don’t look real at all. How could he spray hot-melted-wax on some living human and call it art?! That’s called CHEATING! and trust me, you will laughed at his work cause they were so ugly and fake. His mum will wake up from the grave and slap him if she ever sees his wax museum.

I wonder how much they pay Paris to do this movie. Oh, may be that’s why it looked like a low budget production to me. She died in a horrible way, in fact everyone died except the twins. If only Paris dressed more sexily and showed more of her boobs…If you’re looking for those scenes, you’ll get really dissapointed. Go get her video (you know what I mean) in stead. Well, can’t blame them for letting Paris died so soon cause she’s not the main character, or maybe she’s too expensive? haha..

The story is so predictable. It’s always this bunch of young people going somewhere and the car engine die in some rural area / abandon town / in the middle of no where. As they try to get help, they will bump into some scarry stuffs. Then one by one get killed because they never watch other crappy teen movies that teach them not to be too curious and never ever walk alone in the dark. What do you expect? The typical teen horror movie.

Perhaps they should watch Doll Master before filmming House of Wax. Clearly, the Japanese were more brilliant and capable. Also, I honestly think Boogeyman is much better than this show (I know they have different stories but as my brother mentioned it, I’ll just put it here). At least the ideas were creative, the scenes were much scarrier. Too bad it was spoilt by the crappy ending, they shouldn’t have shown the true face of boogeyman.

This movie is not scarry at all. Me and my brother were laughing throughout the second half of the show. We couldn’t help it, the characters were so dumb that they deserved to get killed and made to wax statues.
Should have used that RM20 to get another pizza *grumpy*.

Lets see what I did today……

Afternoon, went to college and the class ended within an hour.
Jeff sms me asked if I want to watch Madagascar. Hell ya! I’m dying to catch this, according to my friends, “DAMN FARNIIEEE” show.

Guess what, the tickets for 5pm show sold out. 7pm show left only front seats. FINE! what about Star Wars? 6.15pm show, tickets were selling fast.. but what are we gonna do for 2 hours before the show? plus first 4 hours of parking cost RM1, every hour after that cost RM2 -__-”

If Jeff asked me ealier I would have bought or reserved the tickets yesterday or this morning, argh! He suggested to catch the show somewhere else, but heck, it’s WEDNESDAY, which means there will be long queue in front of every GSC cinema…

So we ended up in Popular bookstore and bought a scientific calculator. I lost mine in college, must have left it in the class or something. RM40 gone!

We stop by a camera shop. Attended by this enthusiatic sales man who claim himself to be a photographer. Before this I planned to buy Nikon Coolpix 5900, but he said according to his “experience”, Nikon lasts for only 1 1/2 years, so he recommended Olympus, Pentex and Minolta. You can never trust a sales man’s words 100%. Later, he said all brands within the same price range should have similar quality. Then, he kept stressing it’s worth to buy Olympus D60 and Pentex..bla bla bla… Now, I don’t know which brand to go for… David if you’re reading this, I know you gonna say “NOT AGAIN!” haha… It’s better to do more research before buying mar..right?

Then, we went to “yam cha” at Mong Kok restaurant. The service sucked, it took forever for the drinks to come, I had to remind them. Then my waffle came without honey on top. Mind you, there weren’t many customers, they simply forgot about us. Jeff said probably because I never do enough eye contact, my “voltage” wasn’t strong enough LOL~!!

After that, we went to pasar malam nearby my house. Mann it was soooooo packed! The longest pasar malam in KL, don’t play play~~ We bought some pirated CDs. Passed by the store that sell “smelly tofu”, a type a food where they ferment the tofu and it smells like VOMIT. Jeff said despite the terrible smell, it actually taste great! -______-” How can anyone swallow something like that? and the queue was long! I can never understand that. It’s just yucky for me. The crowd + terrible smell + hot weather, I almost ran out of breath!

Jeff is really funny, I kept laughing at his jokes. He seems to be a real gentleman, funny, friendly, very polite, caring, helpful and yes, he is single. Sounds like I’m promoting him huh..haha.. Well why not? He is a nice guy, the typical good boy friend type! =p Looking forward to yam cha with him again.
