To My Babygirl

Monday, May 30th, 2005

Babygirl, I know you’ve been through a hard time lately…
You have so many things to worry about.
You are so stressed, so confused and so sad…
Yes, I know you’re sad.
I know you’ve cried countless times…

Babygirl, I just want you to know that
No matter what you do, you have my support.
No matter what your decision is, you have my support.
No matter what happens, you still have me.

Babygirl, I know it’s easier to say than done.
I know it’s so hard to make the first move.
But it is time.
It is time to fix it right.
So just do it.

Babygirl, I will stand by your side.
To lend you my hands.
To lend you my ears.
To lend you my shoulder.
I always will.

Strange Dream

Sunday, May 29th, 2005

Some of you should know that Joyce often dreams of strange things…….

This time, I dreamt of my friend, Lee.
I saw him carrying this huge bag of soft toys, like over hundred of them, big and tiny ones!

Naturally, I asked him for some furry animals..He gave me only one tiny little bear. I’m like you have SO MANY but you give me only one?! He said he bought them for someone else..so I thought they’re for his little sister but he said no. So I jokingly said don’t tell me it’s for yourself. Guess what, he smiled and noded!! Imagine, a 23 year old man bought so many soft toys for himself! This is crazy!! LOL~!!

When I sms Lee bout it, he laughed and said because the bear was cute, that’s why he gave it to me =)

Pay Summon

Friday, May 27th, 2005

Today, I went to pay summon together with a friend, Jeff at Jln Tun HS. Lee Police Diraja Headquarter.

We arrived there around 2pm. Went to the “Compund Room” to appeal for “discount”. Jeff couldn’t get it cause he ran past the red light. This traffic offence cannot ask for appeal. Well, not that he purposely did that, he didn’t know he cant turn left during red light as there’s no left-turning traffic light. So, he’s forced to pay RM200!! Madness!!!

What about mine? Well, the officer told me to go appeal in “Appeal Room”. So we went. It’s closed for lunch. A kind Malay officer passed by and told us it will be back at 2.45pm. So we sat down and wait….

Many officers passed by.. everyone looked at us.. felt like an exhibit! haha… but they were all Malay uncles with big fat tummy. You hardly see one without. We begin to wonder WHERE ARE THE CHINESE?! Later, other “exhibits” began to showed up too, some sat behind us, some walked around..and the counter still not opened yet!

Then Jeff went to buy drink in the canteen. Once he left, I spotted a Chinese officer on my far left guiding another chinese exhibit. After that, he walked towards my direction. I was hoping he would pass by my front so I can take a good look at him. Sadly, he didn’t. He chose to walk past my back, argh! Then, he entered the office on my right. Someone spoke to him, so he turned back facing me (well I looked to the right you see *ahem*). BOY HE WAS CUTE!!! He’s young, handsome, trimmed and tall. Most importantly he’s in this white uniform that fits him perfectly! I always fancy guys in uniform! *ahem ahem* If only I could speak to him…………

2.30pm, Jeff went off cause he had to pay hourly parking. Then it started to rain…and I didn’t drive today…

2.50pm, the counter finally opened. Everyone rushed to the counter like there’re freebies over there. My turn.. they told me to go “semak” (check) summon in another room. Stupiddd, have to queue again!! Should have just check my summon there at the beginning isn’t it? Don’t they know the procedure? I waited for 45 minutes okay! These people have “iron rice bowl”, countless victims bow to them, beg them everyday, so nobody cares about efficiency! @!#$%^&*

Then, went back to Appeal Room again and wait for my turn. Finally, got RM20 reduction, went back to the previous room again and paid my summon. RM50 gone! Heartache lar..RM50 can buy a lot of things you know? pump RM40 petrol, RM49.90 Tiesto Album, a nice pair of heels, travel back and forth to Penang by bus, 16 RM3 parking coupons…etc. Shouldn’t have saved that RM3 and parked in the box for customs, stupid me!

The rain stopped after that, was hoping to see the cute officer again but no..
Then, went to this shop that sell all the cute stuffs. Spend almost 1 hour there, bought 3 handphone accessories and a huge Snoopy piggiebank. Then went to the bookstore next door and spend another 1 hour there. Despite the stupid summon, I felt great, shopping therapy really works! =p

5pm, walked all the way to Plaza Rakyat station and took LRT home…
I miss him =(
